Today concludes our travels around London. We are leaving the city with new mates, British accents, and slight hangovers. G and I could not have asked for a better place to start our adventure. While we didn’t do much site seeing the rest of the trip, we built relationships that I know will remain dear to our hearts forever. The people of London appear to be reserved at first but they are truly some of the most genuine and amiable humans we have ever met. They enjoy drinking ales at their local pub, eating Branston pickle, and learning about life on the other side of the pond.

Meet George, Hugo, Archie, Tom, and Mungo. These are the people that welcomed us into their world and showed us how to have a great night out in London. We spent the night having drinks at some local pubs and dancing at the club, Infernos. The pubs are an integral part of British culture. They are a place to enjoy good drinks and even better company. We shared stories, exchanged our different lingo, and drank a few too many jägerbombs. We danced to all of the 2000s classics like Britney Spears, Fergie, and High School Musical at Infernos until 3 in the morning.

G and I are so grateful to each person we met during our time in London. We were given the ultimate British experience and feel sad to leave. A big thank you to Mungo, Archie, and George for being true gentlemen and treating us with the utmost respect. Parts of our hearts remain in the glorious city of London and we look forward to returning soon. And don’t forget, always make it a double. Next stop, Greece.
